ABOUT HTC
PURPOSE
Maximum development in minimal time, while promoting safety and long-term skill retention utilizing the “FEPS” Concept and the “Sane” approach.
The FEPS Concept
Forward Tumbling – Teaching the beginnings of the next skill in the progression, while maintaining focus on the skill at hand.
Early Introduction – Teaching higher level techniques at lower levels, in order to eliminate roadblocks along the way to becoming a high level tumbler.
Pure Power – Teaching the athlete to generate the power necessary to perform the skill from within themselves, and not relying on speed, which can never create, but can only manufacture the false illusion of power.
Strength Empowerment – The athlete will be conditioned in such a way that achieving the skill becomes easy and the skill can be performed safer and with a high level of consistency.
The “SANE” Approach
Avoiding the insanity of having the athlete perform the same incorrect habits over and over expecting different results. This will be accomplished by dissecting the skill and fixing the problem areas before putting it back together.
MISSION
To instill morals and principles in each athlete that will build character and make them successful at life.
VISION
Safe, successful athletes who grow to be strong men and women of character.
